Purchased a Dual SIM for the cell number in this report over three weeks ago and despite numerous calls ( -15) to customer services to get it provisioned and 2 visits to the Midrand branch of at least an hour each visit, the SIM only got provisioned on Friday 19 April 2013 so at least we could use the line for calls.
However, a Dual SIM is meant to re-route calls from the main line to the Dual SIM phone when the main line is unreachable. I tested this functionality on Friday evening and it either went to voice mail or stated that it at reached an invalid number. I phoned customer services to report it, customer services did not know how dual SIM worked and escalated to the technical support, and finally technical support said they found something and I could test again in 2 to 24 hours. Needless to say, when tested 24 hours later it still didn't work.
Is this the beginning of another three weeks of wasted time in an attempt to get this working?
