Dear Telkom,
I would love to be able to use my internet connection over the weekend. Telkom is selling bandwidth that their exchanges cannot handle, I thought my line rental fee would cover my portion of bandwidth on the exchange, but clearly Telkom does not care to provide a fair service and instead oversells their exchanges and constantly provide bandwidth upgrades when a 384kb/s line is not even working correctly. My line has been 'upgraded' from 384kb/s to 1mb/s and I have yet to see any improvement during after hours or weekends.
I have been dealing with this problem for the last two years, after hours and over weekends my internet line speed turns into a crawl providing me endless frustration while Telkom cannot provide an answer and gives me the same response every time 'your report # has been restored' when nothing has been done.
Every time I complain about this on here I get the exact same response, I was under the impression that you are not allowed to give cut and paste responses on this website, but that is what I get every time.
Please fix this or get out of South Africa
