My internet connection has been giving me trouble from day one, for over two years now.
It has become clear that Telkom has no real interest to resolve this problem.
I have over 50 reference numbers and over 10 escalation reference numbers, all without any real response.
By now it is public knowledge that Telkom overloads their adsl exchanges, in effect selling bandwidth between customers and fool them into thinking they need to upgrade their connection, which has no effect, because the problem with Telkom having insufficient capacity, but they continue to sell without upgrading their capacity.
My line has been 'upgraded' from 384 kb/s to 1 mb/s and I have yet to see any improvement during peak hours. Again, I have been dealing with this for over two years now, and it is quite apparent that it all comes down to Telkom selling my bandwidth to someone else.
I do not know how a company that functions like this could stay in business for much longer.
I don't know how many more hours I have to spend talking to your call centre. I would appreciate this to be resolved, please contact me on my CELL NR, because I do not have a phone connected to landline.
