Trying to port, month later still nothing

I have been trying to port to MTN. Without success. Cannot get hold of contact at MTN.

This has been a long journey. Vodacom, bad service after more than 10 years with them. Tried CellC but they could not deliver a sim card in a month so cancelled everything after numerous attempts. Now MTN, since 18 March, no sim, no phone, no port. (cellC apparently holding on to my number. but MTN said they will resolve.).

MTN agent contacts me every 3-4 days or so. I cannot get hold of him. When speaking to him yesterday, got cut off but he never phoned back.

My next stop is with 8-ta, are there any other service providers in the market?

This industry has the worst customer service of all. I have filled out various "contact us" forms on the MTN web site, latest being MTN REQ:1992728, no response at all. The only place I get response in this industry is on hello peter.

Please let me know today: 1) do you want my business? 2) When will my phone and sim be delivered?

If not, phone me today so that I can formally close and cancel this application as well. I am fed up.

Looking at reports on hello peter, seems this is common practise at MTN
