No Feedback on Cellphone Repai

I went in to Vodacom Cape Gate to book my phone in for repair on the 16/03/2013. I declined using one of there service phones as I already have one. They told me that the phone had to be sent to Johannesburg to their advanced repair center. I have called once a week since and I am not getting any feedback besides "It should be ready soon". The Problem is I have now started a new job for which I require a smart phone to keep in contact with my colleagues and customers. I have had no feedback or even an e-mail besides the bill for the contact of the phone. I managed to find out that my phone has not passed a quality check today the 12/04/2013 and I am unsure what that means. It is an expensive account with vodacom insurance on it. If they are unable to fix it I should get a proper substitute for the phone that can do what I paid for it to do.
