Vodacom
False Information

My Samsung SII was on the 1st March, i obviously reported it and blacklisted my number. I called Vodacom to see about getting a new phone (they had no more Samsung SII) and luckily i was due for an upgrade. I found the 'deal' that best suited me which included the Samsung SIII and signed the contract. I was informed that it would take 7 to 14 working days as it was a popular phone (fair enough). With all the Public Holidays, i was very patient and called ones or twice to see if there was any progress. On the 14th working day (3 weeks later) i called again and still no confirmation.

I called again today, 9th April and was put through to a machine who asked for my number, it then told me i will only receive the phone on the 22nd April (6 weeks after i signed the documentation). I also spoke to a person who said they cannot confirm when the phone will be delivered but the stock is in Cape Town somewhere.

Why tell the client it will take 7 to 14 working days when infact you have no clue when it will arrive in the Country let alone in the same Province.

All my emails, accounts etc are connected to my phone number which i cannot access until i receive this new phone.
