My blackbery (recently refurbished) was sent in to Vodacom repairs pretoria city for a software upgrade as the service books on the phone were not installed yielding the phone useless. the discription on the quoye said only that the phone needed new service books.
when i recieved the phone back 3 weeks later. the reciept indicated the following:
34 Water damage
08 software upgrade
34 liquid indicator red
39 part replaced - lense assey square, optical navigation module
job no: 8650432
what did i get in return for this R1000 bill?
it is not possible for the phone to have water damage as the phone had not been used since i had revieved it back from Vodacom after beinf refurbised.
there was nothing wring with the lense assembly, so why was it replaced? the optical navigation module was replaced when the phone was refurbished, why was it now replaced again?
and most importantly the software upgrade required has not been installed -i.e. still no service books!
