Thursday 04/04/2013 I phoned Vodacom customercare and tell them I have a pattern lock on my phone and if they can assist me to unlock it.(My son got hold of my phone and tried to many attempts to unlock it) The person then told me to phone Samsung which I did. The person there opened a profile for me, and I tell her my store to unlock the pattern. She gave me a ref no:7111148316 and said the phone's software must me upgrade and that I must phone vodacare. I went to book in my phone on Thursday 04/04/2013 and tell the person there Samsung said it needed a software upgrade. Friday I got a sms from Vodacom saying an estimate of R1951.71 has been generated on jobno 8744233. I contacted them and the person told me the technician said there is a chip on the left hand corner of phone and that they need to replace my lcd screen.( Which to my knowledge was working fine and had no problem with it) I only asked for a software upgrade. They lady phone me and said if I don't except the quote I can come and fetch my phone and that they cannot do the software upgrade.
