Got new phone approved over the phone. Long story short - proper feedback was not on the list of priorities when after 7 working days I had still not received the promised phone. Two emails and a series of calls to the Cell C call centre went unanswered. When I finally got through to somebody they told me to ring another number. Then received the wrong colour phone 10 working days after the approval. (If the contact person had given me feedback that my requested colour is not available yet it would not have been a problem to wait a little longer.) The contract is part of a porting process from MTN to Cell C. Now this is just the cherry on the cake - last night my MTN number stopped working as Cell C pulled the number onto their network but I have not activated the new phone yet as I want the correct colour. I was promised that the number will only be pulled once the phone has been activated. What do I do now - can't get hold of the lady that approved the contract and have two cell phones both of which don't work. All of this three weeks after my previous phone was and MTN told me to get an affidavit to prove that my number of 8 years is my number...
