I got a contract through Cell C Direct. After 9 days of waiting to have my number ported because the initial consultant didn't do their job I started using the phone. The phone had an initial problem of not making calls which I reported within the seven days, but thought it might be because of my number not being ported and them working on it. After my number was ported and I actually started using the phone I noticed a line of dead pixels on the left hand side of the screen and my mobile data also stopped working requiring a restart every time. I took the phone in at the NC mall in kimberley on the 11/09 but the phone was only logged for repair on the 16/09 because they do not care.
I tried tirelessly to get a hold of someone to help me to get the phone swapped out instead of repaired as the 7 days OBF was no longer viable because of the porting problem. The call centre was useless and not a single person was helpful and ever phoned me back as they said they would.
I'm currently being helped by Lohan, the NC area manager who was really hard to get a hold of.
Avoid Cell C as far as possible, my experience proves they do not care about customers' or providing service.
