On the 16/08/2013 I went into the Ballito Cell C store to sign up for a cell phone contract through my company. I completed the paperwork for a RBM200 contract @R199 per month with a SamsungS3 Mini phone. I explained to the consultant that I needed to port my number from MTN as my entire business runs through this.
The following week I was told that my contract had been approved and that I would receive a call shorty to come in and collect my phone before the number was ported. 3 weeks later I had not heard anything so I went back to the store and was told they were having trouble getting a phone activated. I then heard nothing until I contacted your call centre last week who told me they now had the correct details and would activate the contract. On Monday night my number was ported and I went into your store on Tue to collect my phone only to be told that I had been activated on a RBM100 contract? This is not what I signed up for so I asked for this to be changed. So Cell C have ported my number but not activated the account that I applied for? Surely this is illegal? So I still have no phone and my number is not active meaning that no one can contact me on my BUSINESS number!
