Write up of a Cell Phone Contract

On the 18/03/2013 I visited the MTN Phoenix Plaza Branch in Durban to INQUIRE about a cellphone contract and to check if i qualify for this cellphone. Vishnu didnt answer my questions that I had, but very forcefully insisted on me completing a form. he assured me in the presence of two other individuals that this form is not an full contract and does not mean im accepting the contract, however he needs the forms to be completed only were he instructed me to complete to check if i qualify for the phone. he was extraemly rushed and just wanted me to sign even forcefully turning the pages before I could read it. He then said that he will sms me to advise if the phone was approved o not and at that stage I can make a decision to take it or not. I never heard from Vishnu or MTN until I discovered that my Current Cell C number had been ported to MTN with no notification. At this point i was furious i called the call centre they advised me that my contract WAS MADE ACTIVE!!! I asked to speak to a manager after waiting over 20 minutes i spoke to Poobalan Moodley who was of NO assistance he even said that he cant and wont do anything since i need to call the store. THIS NEEDS TO BE CANCE
