I was in at Vodaworld Midrand customer care yesterday 27 March 2013 at 09h15 as I needed to do a sim swap for a new phone.

Firstly I was told that I would be connected within 2 hours which did not happen but my old sim card was disconnected.

I then called vodacare customer service to be told that it can take up to 24 hours to have the new sim card connected. Really? After the customer service agent at Vodaworld told me that it would be two hours!

So who knows who is talking the truth here!?

I then called Vodacom customer care this morning being Thursday 28 March 2013 at 05h29 to be told that no sim swap has been forwarded on their system for activation.

I was told that I have to go into Vodacom to sort this out! This is not acceptable. Evidently, staff incompetence and a serious inconvenience!

So I will be going in to Vodaworld this morning and believe me that I will be activated before I leave the store and I will not be told that I need to wait how many hours (which staff do not seem to know themselves) to be activated!

I wonder if I will get it right to have Vodacoms CEO or higher powers onto the floor this morning?

This really is BULL!
