Payed for simswap that was never activated

I went to collect my phone @ vodaworld on Sat 31 august 2013, i payed for a sim swap as the new phone used a micro sim and i had a normal sim card from my old phone.
The consultant who was assisting me said the new sim will be active in the next 3 hours.i waited days for the sim to be active.
After made time to call vodacom customer care they told me the sim swap was never actioned.
I'm very unhappy with the service.
The consultant was incompetent.
