My Blackberry got some water damage earlier this morning within 15 min I was at Cell C to ask if it can be repaired. The consultant (which I didn't check her name due to her having one bad attitude with me) told me that they do not repair Blackberry's that are water damaged. I told her I'd pay cash to have it done as it's not insured. She was quite pushy that they don't repair water damage and then referred me to a cheap cell shop that might. I didn't take out a contract to have my phone repaired at a cheap cell shop.
She then proceeded to tell me how to the insurance: Get insurance keep the phone for a month and then report it they would then replace it or have it fixed.
First they don't repair water damaged Blackberry's but now the insurance suddenly does. Do you or don't you?
Prepared to pay cash to have it repaired, why wouldn't they take my business and do it instead of trying to turn me into a criminal, or have my phones warranty invalid due to some cheap cell repair shop work on it.
How do I repair my phone at an accredited cell c shop, if this is their answers... or lose your warranty...???
