Want to pay but cant

I ran out of funds and decided to cancel my Telkom account in Dec 2011 but I was already in that month and accepted that there will be charges and all I wanted was confirmation that the account is closed! So I delayed paying until the first lawyer phoned looking for the money, I explained she accepted and then I heard nothing again. Late last year I received another phone call and I accepted that there is no way that account can still be open and asked the lawyer to phone me back the next morning because I was in a meeting, but again nothing and I haven't heard another thing from them again. All I wanted to do is to get the information to where I must transfer the monies to and exactly how much and when will I get my account settlement letter that is all it would have been done and dusted there and then. So what now can Telkom please ask there lawyers to get back to me again! This is too long now I want to have a clean record again in this live time please
