I have been on the phone with telkom for over 4 months now regarding a telkom account I never actually agreed to open. After the first bill was issued I asked to cancel this account - this was not done. After the second bill, i phoned again - they said they had no record of cancellation. I then asked for an investigation to be done. I did not hear back from them and when I phoned again - surprise, surprise they had no record of any conversations or investigations. I never signed any contract with telkom - therefore there is no proof that I opened this account and telkom think they can get away with billing and BLACKLISTING people. Every time you phone telkom no one can help you - you spend hours holding and get no where. I've wanted to give up and just pay - but then they could be doing this too thousands of people and making money off accounts that aren't being used! I have never dealt with such incompetence in my life.
