Vodacom Contract Dispute

In 26 June 2012 my domestic worker received a phone call offering her a cell phone contract. She never received a phone and a few weeks later received an account in the mail. I subsequently tried to assist her to solve the problem and get the contract cancelled, but have not been successfull to date. She has now received a final demand totalling R2407.24. I asked Vodacom to send me the voice recording so that we can hear the conversations ourselves but they failed to do so. The call was in English and my domestic worker does not understand English very well. She hence did not know what was being offered to her and inadvertantly in her ignorance must have agreed to something she did not fully understand. Now she is being threated in being handed over for collection. I have numerous documentation to and from Vodacom which I can submit under seperate cover to fill you in with full details. On top of it I found out that is a contract WITHOUT a phone. My word, who in there right mind would agree to something like this anyway. A person usually take the contract because of the phone on offer.
Anyway, see if you can assist as my hands are tied.
