Vodacom
Bad Service

An Indian man from Vodacom phoned my 62yr old AFRIKAANS father-in-law, explaining to him in English, about changing his contract, which my father-in-law of course did not understand. And according to Vodacom my father-in-law agreed to these terms which I do not agree with. Making changes like this should be accompanied by documents in black and white with a signature from the account holder. I mean it could have been Piet or Klaas they were speaking to.

After numerous calls to date with numerous reference no, the outcome according to Vodacom is that the outstanding amount should be paid within two month or they will disconnect the numbers.

My father-in-law is a pensioner who earns a R3000 pension per month, how will he be able to afford this.

When you phone Vodacom, they put you through from one operator to the next with one reference no. after the other.

The phones have been cut twice before, but our usual monthly payment still gets paid.

But I will not agree to pay that amount, I will not pay for something that he did not agree to or understand what he agreed to.
