Last week I received a phone call from a Vodacom Consultant asking me if I wanted to upgrade my pay as you go contract. She also then informed me that their was another line added onto my contract for a BlackBerry 9320 cell phone. This contract was deducted from my bank account from the 1 July 2012 every month. This was done without my concent and I have also never received the Blackberry phone. I did receive a call last year in July from a very rude and pushy gentleman from Vodacom. But I told him that I was not interested in taking out a contract because I could not afford it and I was also going on maternity leave in July. He ignored my instruction and went ahead with the contract anyway. This has been deducted and I demand to be refunded for all the money taken from me and the contract to be cancelled immediately. Vodacom have asked me to get bank statements going back to June 2012 to proving this but my bank want to charge me R400 to do this. I am not going to do this and I demand that Vodacom give me a full refund otherwise I will be going to the police and my lawyer will be taking this matter further. Very disappointed.
