Unable to reactivate sim card

Once again Virgin Mobile doesn't fail to DISAPPOINT! My phone stopped connecting to a network on Fri (15 March). After rebooting many times i assumed the SIM must be corrupt-a regular occurrence with this service provider. I contacted the call centre Sat morn. Was advised to buy new sim, NOT Rica it, call them back for sim swop.(Call Ref#46702626) I managed to purchase the SIM after pleading my case to the saleslady at Pick n Pay... because actually ALL new sim cards should be Rica'd. Contact call centre again.now they tell me the sim has to be purchased from a Checkers/Shoprite because they have allocated blank simcards to these stores that can be purchased without RICA.(Ref#46702640). Monday morn I went to Checkers Bayside Mall. Spoke to the Manager.he knows of no such arrangement with Virgin Mobile. So he cannot allow me to purchase without RICA.Contact call centre again. Cut off twice. Finally speak to sum1.I told him I'm calling from a prepaid phone so if airtime runs out he must call me back. He says he can't. So i suggested that a Manager call me back. So he doesn't bother to help me further. No one has called. Still no phone. My temp number 0798449875. Contract number 0844422261 does not work
