Sim Swaps are impossible

I have been battling for almost 3 weeks for a sim swap to be affected through Virgin Mobile.

when I realized that my sim was not work i called the call centre to find out what i should do as there are no Virgin Mobile stores anywhere near me!

i was told to go to shoprite/checkers to purchase a sim and then phone them back which i did!
they took the sim number and told me the contract would be sorted out within 48 hours
after 4 days i phoned them back and i was told i had purchased the wrong sim.

so i went back to checkers and bought another sim in accordance with the sim number they gave me.
they told me the SIM card would be active with in 48 hours after another few days the sim card was still not working so i phoned again and really spoke to some incompitent people. nothing was or could be done about is pretty much what they told me.

last week itried the email route and still nothing has been solved. I have not had services for a few weeks now but i can gaurantee they will want my money!

i would like them to release my number so i can port it to a service provider who can assist me!
