Gives a free sim card, after Rica forces payment

Virgin Mobile promo: i was told because I was spotted with a cellphone in my hand i get a "free" simcard with R50 airtime and1000 free sms for only an admin fee of R5. "i am giving you this sim card plus an extra sim card" - Letsitsi (salesman). i asked again what the promo entailed and he said I would get 1000 free sms, R50 airtime. i clarified that this was free and he confirmed. i proceeded with Rica and registration- no evidence of address or ID in contradiction on RICA rules. Once the registration was done, Letsitsi demanded R100 from me for the"free" airtime. i told him that i was not prepared to pay that. he said that i had no choice but to take the cards and pay up because the registration and rica was already in my name and couldnt be undone. He refused me a receipt. because i was intimidated by him i relented and paid. when i called virgin mobile contact centre they told me that they were not responsible for the virgin mobile promos - this was outsourced, Virgin mobile has stooped to conning people to gain market share. CPA contradiction: no receipt, price was changed from free to R100 and no return on faulty transaction! blatant to gain a sale. virgin sale
