Injured in the store

On Saturday, the 27th of January, 2024, I was badly injured in the store due to negligence. The director of the company promised that he would take care of everything. One of the managers, along with a staff member, took me to the hospital. At the casualty department, they were required to pay upfront. The manager contacted the director to get authorization for the payment. After waiting for over an hour, I was informed that they would not be paying. In so much pain, and with the manager trying to get hold of the director, who had decided not to take any calls, I decided to pay for all the costs myself due to the extreme pain.

After three hours, I chose to pay for my treatment. The manager went back to the store to have a chat with the director but never came back. Luckily, I had a friend who came to assist. I was finally discharged at 21:00 that night, having been there since 14:00. My vehicle was left at the store, which the director also promised to help get home. But, to cut a long story short, to date, I have received no call or message from the store.

I've been booked off from work, cannot walk, and live on my own. I am so traumatized by all that has happened. Luckily, my friend came to my rescue; otherwise, I don't know what I would have done. It's so sad that they could not assist with anything and all the inconvenience caused. I've now been booked off from work and had to get medical assistance. I cannot believe this really happened and that people can be so heartless.
