3 months to cancel???

ON THE 11TH OF JANUARY 2013 WE PHONED TO FIND OUT WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO GET OUT OF A CELLPHONE CONTRACT AS I WENT OVER TO VODACOM. THE GUY AT THE CALLCENTRE SAID THERE WILL BE A LAST PAYMENT OF ABOUT R250.00 BECAUSE THE CONTRACT WILL END IN MARCH 2013. TODAY I PHONED THEM JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WAS INDEED THE LAST PAYMENT ON THE 1ST OF MARCH 2013 AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY ARE ONLY CANCELLING THE CONTRACT TODAY AND ANOTHER PAYMENT WILL BE DEDUCTED ON THE 1ST OF APRIL. SHE CANT UNDERSTAND WHAT IM TRYING TO EXPLAIN RESULTING ME JUST TO PUT THE PHONE DOWN IN HER EAR CAUSE SHE WANTED TO START ARGUE. MIGHT AS WELL WAITED FOR IT TO END IN MARCH IN ANY CASE
