I phoned Virgin Mobile on 10 January 2013 to cancel my account. I was told that my contract would be cancelled on 28 January 2013, however I would have to pay 2 months in arrears, i.e. last debit order payment being 1st March 2013. However, this month (April 2013) R149 was debited from my account. I phoned Virgin Mobile on 3 April to have this amount refunded and got a case number Case # 2894082) when speaking to Thandeka. She promised me that someone whould get back to me within 48 house - it is now 6 days later and I have still not heard from anyone from Virgin and my bank statement still shows that no refund of R149 has been made. I tried calling them again today (9 April) but it is quite impossible to get through to ANYONE who can help me without having to hold on for hours!!
Please can someone assist me in getting my money back without having to phone them and be on hold with a voice machine for hours on end and costing me every minute I wait..
