I just read a complaint posted on the 13th of March 2013 by Eshazaer and feel that MTN is really inequitable on us.
On many occasions when I upgrade and moving from one package to the other MTN will give me pro-rata air time till my next billing date.
I upgraded from top-up R100 - top-up R200 on the 11th of March. I only received data bundles pro-rata and not airtime. I called 808 to enquire and they told me to go to the store where I upgraded which was at The Reds Mall. They called to enquire and I heard the lady asking about the pro-rata airtime but was told that I will only receive it on my next billing date.
To my surprise is that when somebody migrates loses his/her airtime but when you upgrade you don't get pro-rata airtime either, it is lose lose situation.
I feel that MTN should give me my pro-rata airtime of my new package.
