I booked in my BLACKBERRY CURVE 9300 job card number 1-6641698309 IMEI 358033045609897 on the 22/02/2012 at MTN Centurion mall as it was no longer charging and i ecplained to the lady the problem. On the 08/03/2013, I was called by MTN that the phone is ready and can come collect it, I went to MTN around 17h00 and when i got there, I was told that they didnt fix it because it was BER (BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR) and the location of the damage is LIQUID DAMAGE... and i am still shocked cause firstly, That phone has never fell inside water and i dont bath with it... and i dont know what caused the liquid damage unless if "IT WAS MADE UP". I took the phone to be fixed somewhere today 11/03/2013 and it only took them 5 hours to fix the phone and was told that the charging hole on the side was damaged and there was no liquid damage found. MTN you are! You come up with BER stories because my contract expires this month on the 19th. I mean, I would have upgraded and there was no need for you to come up with this tricks. So dissapointed and i am ready to move to VODACOM.The HVRC technician -AARON and HVRC LEAD- FRANK who all signed are incompetent, I mean a five hour work took you three weeks..
