Please can a technician let me know when they will be able to install a rental line for me. I made an order for a telephone line a month ago and no one has called me yet. I was told by one of the ladies at the Festival Mall branch that it takes 14 days to get a line installed when I paid for the order, but I am still waiting. After 3 and a half weeks I went to the Telkom Direct store in Festival Mall to enquire why I had not received a call from the technicians and they had no answer for me, all they could do was escalate my request. To date I have not received any call yet, this is very very disappointing.
Can this be escalated please as I ordered the phone because I need it urgently. Honestly Telkom service is really terrible, is it because they have a huge portion of the market, that is why they behave like this? In my area I see the technicians driving around all the time, yet none have been able to contact me to install the line for me. If I could stop them on the road I would, but is that what customers should be doing?
