I paid my deposit for a new telephone line to be installed about 2.5 months ago. The technicians sub-contracted by Telkom attempted on 2 occasions to install the service but were unable to do so due to the Telkom Technical Dept. not having set up a line. The sub-contractors informed Telkom of the problem, but to date I still do not have a telephone line. I have contacted the Telkom Call Centre on numerous occasions (at least 8 times) over the last 2 months with my query being registered accordingly - each time being re-assured that that the problem will be addressed and that someone will be in contact with me to arrange the installation of the line - to date no one has done so. Telkom have then had the audacity to send me bills for the rental of a line - which is none existent.
