At the end of May I ordered a new phone line to be installed. A week later a technician came to install. I recieved a sms a couple of days before stating that a technician would be coming and that they would need a whole day to install the new phone line. My wife was at home to let them in to install. I phoned later the same day to find out if the phone was installed. My wife told me that they have finished and the technician was there for about 2 hours. I was concerned as I was told that it would of take the whole day as new lines needed to be run. I asked my wife if the technician did ran a new line. My wife said no, that they used my existing line which belongs to my parents. As a result we only have 1 line and not 2. I complained many times to Telkom, but with no outcome. I escalated my compliant, but I have heard nothing from Telkom. I have been billed for the installation of the new line, but I am not paying asno new line was installed. I will be happy if they take the installation fee off my bill, as we are looking to move in the near future and want to take the line with us.
