Hi, this more frustration than a complaint. I have been battling for weeks to get to the right person. The guys at the Newcastle MTN store was really helpful, MTN Retention department not so much. I have signed up for a small contract to see what coverage and service is like! It was really good, so I decided to move my contracts one bye one over to MTN, imagine my surprise when I was told that I cant upgrade a contract with NO handset to a bigger contract with a handset! I don't want to leave or cancel, just need a bigger contract and to keep my number!! I was told I can cancel the Contract for R174??? but they wont upgrade? So you would rather let me cancel my contract for R174 than upgrade me to a bigger contract with a phone! I believe this is very short sited. Please can anyone with some authority Phone me and explain the reasoning behind this. All I want is a bigger contract!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
