On 18/06/2013 I applied for an upgrade via telephone on the following number: 084140
I was informed that the upgrade would be processed 18/06/2013 and it was done at 16:47 however when I called to enquire regarding the type of contract and when the upgraded benefits would be put in place I was told that I would only receive the handset (in 7 days) but the upgrade benefits for the "new contract" would only be put in place in 4 months time. This was unacceptable and I immediately requested that the upgrade request be cancelled as I will upgrade once the contract has expired - and not before - as only the handset and no new benefits does not suit me. According to the consumer act I may cancel this request within 7 days - I requested the cancellation within an hour and the cancellation has been refused! I have spoken to Lebo Makoti, Candice, Michelle and Lucia Legone - none of them were prepared to assist me to cancel the upgrade request. The last person I spoke to, Lebo Makoti told me that they could not cancel the upgrade request and all that I could do was "not accept" the phone when delivered and once the handset is returned Cell C would call and then ask if I want to cancel the orde
