On 3 October 2013 I completed a telephonic upgrade for my contract and was assured that I would receive my new handset within a week at the latest. After several unanswered emails, I received confirmation that my upgrade was successful on the 4th of October, after which I heard nothing and my handset was not delivered. A couple unanswered emails and several very long and frustrating calls to MTN later, I finally received an email on 14 October saying that I need to go in store to reprocess my upgrade as it was unsuccessful. However, I keep receiving SMSes saying that my upgrade is complete, and yet I haven't received my new cellphone. After more than 2 weeks I am still left in confusion. I would now like to cancel the upgrade and the contract as well.
