Why am i paying for something that is your fault??

This morning i woke up with a functioning Cell C supplied Blackberry. A few hours into my day this stupid phone, which has just come back from repairs a few weeks ago is telling me that the SIM in not allowed! WHY??? and then your call centre agent tells me i need to try it on another phone. I do not have th eluxury of 2 phones!! And then i must pay for a sim swap. Why??? Who's fault is it that your stupid sim is not working?
