Repairs to Blackberry 8520

Our daughter's phone is a Blackberry 8520. She was very happy with the phone until the scroller stopped working. She still managed to work with the phone, then suddenly she couldn't text or bbm etc. anymore. We then went to Cell C Westgate, explaining the whole situation. We were then assured that the phone would be sent in to Cell C Repair Centre for repairs and will be contacted once they have seen & found the fault to the phone. We were eventually contacted and was quoted an x amount. We agreed to the amount and asked the Repair Centre to go ahead in fixing the phone. To cut a only story short, I had numerous fights with Cell C as I had to pay the Repair Centre first in order to get phone, which I have eventually done. About 2 weeks ago we collect the phone at Cell C Westgate. Instead of getting the repaired phone back, we received a new phone. There were no explanation as to why we received a new phone. About two days ago, the phone again stopped working. I went to Cell C Westgate again, and I was told to return the phone and wait again 3 to 6 weeks for repairs. All we want is a phone that works without waiting 3 to 6 weeks. Preferably her phone that we initially sent in.
