Blackberry
Faulty trackpad

I purchased a blackberry curve 9300 6months ago and the phone is still under manufacturers warranty.i started experiencing problems with the trackpad which from time to time ever since november 2012 it would stop functioning and aftr days of not using the phone it would return to normal.i decided to take the phone to vodacom repairs durban (19/01/12) to have the problem sorted and after a week i am told that the entire keypad is water damaged and i have to pay R1140 so that i can have a replacement phone with a 3month warranty.i am shocked by this as i have paid R2100 to purchase this phone and it did not last more than 6mnths and i do not ever recall it being exposed to water.this is the same model that is notoriously known to have a malfunctioning trackpad but now its shocking to hear that i have damaged the keypad with water whereas the keypad with the exclusion of the trackpad is just perfect.its not my fault that blackberry makes rubbish phones which are not durable, but i as the customer refuse to be robbed out of my hard earned Rand as a result.i opted to take the phone back rather than paying more for a stupid phone that will die.im never owning a blackberry eve
