I recently signed up for the Vodacom 3G R205 Router 3Gig 3Gig Package.
I was initially led to believe that the total monthly billed amount would be the advertised R199p/m.
However most months have been well over this amount in the excess of thousands of rands.
I have inquired about setting a limit to restrict my account to the specified 3Gig 3Gig, however was informed that this can only be done after a certain period of time. Clearly just enough time to drain one of all their savings.
I would urge anyone who is considering this package on its "great pricing" facade to consider other packages first as you will end up spending more than you budgeting for.
And whilst other networks update their package offerings with market adjustments and larger data bundles, vodacom maintains the basic bare minimum, leaving you well behind other comparative packages launched at the same time.
