3GIG promotional boundle nothing recieved

I bought a 3GIG promotional data from the Vodashop in Greenstone shopping mall the one next to Mug & Bean it cost me R300.00 Ruan helped me he typed in one number incorrect I phoned Vodacom last night and they said I must go back to the shop in the morning so I did they told me that they will email Vodacom and whatever data is used by the other incorrect number I will loose they also told me that the other person with cell number 0796175511 (John)? and that they would not be able to have used my whole 3gig in one night? well I checked my balance and it is zero so I have lost R300 and cant do anything about it? why cant they give my 3gig back and subtract it from Johns account? he knew it wasn't his so why did he use 3gig in one night? is it because he know that no one can do anything about it? The number that should have been updated with the 3gig data is 0796975511.
