Repair centre lost my phone

I booked my phone for a software upgrade because the Wifi button freezes, Job number 8577546 at Vodacom Sandton repairs on 6 February. After a week of no update I called the branch on (0118832122) & the lady said that she will call me back with the status. I waited for 2 hours & called back, she said that the phone is lost. I requested to speak to the manager (Abdul) & he confirmed that the pone is lost and that he needs to send out emails to the various technicians before blacklisting the phone and ordering a new one. On Saturday 16 January, I went to the store & Winnie said that they ordered me a new phone & I will receive a call from Abdul on Monday. I called today & the receptionist said that they are going to replace it and its going through QC. However I will not accept a phone that is not sealed!!! If is not my phone with my I.M.E.I number. As they inconvenienced me and constantly. It is unethical to not contact a customer back. I constantly called them & its always a different story (the phone is recovered- they were unable to detect the problem therefore it is sent to advance repairs) I don't understand how can a software upgrade take 2 weeks. please intevean
