After three weeks of 1 call per week, I am still nowhere near seeing Telkom sending someone out to view the the pole which holds all the phone lines for our neighbourhood. It is nearly at a 45 degree angle, being propped up with my ladder and I fear it could fall and damage my wall, electric fence or even harm my children who play the back garden. The pole is in my property in the back corner and connects more than 6 household's lines including a complex next door. The pole could fall down and at moment and is not well-secured. I have contacted Telkom three times. The first time they did not record the reference no. or supply me with one. The second time they provided a reference which no consultant could find on the system. The third time - Now I am waiting...
