Please sort this out ASAP! I will briefly explain what happened. The police statement and queries were sent to MTN numerous times and I will gladly attach all my proof if needed:
15 September '12 cell phone 0834627127 went off line and we thought it was the phone or the sim card which is the same one for the last 14 years.
17 September '12 went to Vaal Mall MTN, and discovered a sim swap was done at OR Thambo airport. The clerk told me this could be a inside job and I must check my bank account. I checked and R 6600 were withdrawn from my home loan account.
Struggled until the 24th to get a new sim card and bought one myself. Why must I pay for a new sim card?
On the 20th and 25th of September I faxed through all the evidence to MTN.
On the 30th of October after several phone calls/queries I received a reply. Ref no 93440467
Followed up again today & phoned the department and the reply was that they will refund the phone calls made when the swap was made and refund the sim card.
I explained that the sim swap was done by a MTN employee so MTN is also responsible for the money they withdrew from my bond as well
PLEASE PAY BACK THE CALL CHARGES, SIM CARD AND THE R6600 ASAP!!
