I joined the MTN network last year and have to say the service has been shocking. A month or so after receiving my phone one of the agents called me just to check if I was happy with the headset and Network. He also advised someone will be in contact with me for insurance. To this day I still have not heard back from anyone. Sent an email online and no one has bothered to get back to me. Today I'm sitting with a phone that doesn't want to charge and has a cracked screen. Spoke to Helen over a week ago online who was helpful. Helen advised I should go to one of the nearest MTN stores for the phone to be sent for repairs. When I got to the MTN store at Bonaero Park, the lady with the red cheeks was very rude and unhelpful. One of the other ladies assisted and advised that my phone is as good as dead as MTN won't fix my phone due to the cracked screen. She also advised I should go to the repair centre for a quotation to fix the charger port should I be willing to pay for the repairs. The phone works well besides the cracked screen. I have to say I am disappointed with this whole situation. It's unacceptable that MTN will still be billing me for a dead phone.
