Apparent warrenty void

I got an upgrade on my contract, before I could charge the battery for the first time, the screen cracked, my fault, I know. After another 2months the phone Galaxy S3, began to reset by itself and don't want to log in. I took the phone back to Secunda autopage and the lady who is working there told me that she is supposed to give me a new phone because the phone is only 2 months old, but because of the cracked screen she has to send it away for the software problem. I was fine with that. The apparent repair would only take 5 weeks... After 6weeks I phoned and still no phone. Two days after that I received a phone call from the branch telling me that because of the cracked screen, my warrenty is void and they will not repair the software. The cracked screen had no influence on the software malfunction, how can the warrenty be void? Secunda gave me head office's telephone number, after I phoned them they didn't know anything about my warrenty being void because of the cracked screen... Can Autopage please contact me and explain!
