I paid R225 for Showmax Mobile Pro with the intention of getting better/more channels during the school holidays. However, I was informed by Showmax that I had only paid for the mobile version and was directed to upgrade by following certain steps. To my surprise, I was charged an additional R99 in one day. Despite this, the channels have still not been opened, and when I contacted Showmax for assistance, I was passed around without receiving any help. The customer service experience was extremely poor, as there are no phone numbers to call for assistance and I was only able to communicate through live chat. I urge others to be cautious.
