CHARGED FOR NO-CHARGE UPGRADE

In Dec I upgraded to a new phone and a more expensive package as I was told I could do so at no charge. To my absolute horror on my next bill I was charged R1137 for this. I immediately went back to the store to report this and they said that I should not have been charged and that they will follow up with Vodacom. I expressed numerous times in person, via email and via sms how important it was to be sorted out before 31 Jan as this is when my D/O goes through. OBVIOUSLY it has not been sorted out otherwise I would not be writing this. All they constantly tell me is that they are speaking to the Manager of the Department at Vodacom but do you think they want to give me the name and number of this person. OF COURSE NOT. I have just called vodacom myself and according to the call centre this service request has been closed and no credit is due because according to them the store allowed me a premature upgrade. If the store had any idea about customer service they would refund me this money and then sort their issues out with Vodacom. Why should I carry the cost until then. I AM ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS THAT THEY DO NOT GET THIS. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
