Premature Upgrade

I am a Vodacom customer for the last 10 years. I have a contract currently with Vodacom and i am due for an upgrade on the 22nd of May 2013. I requested a premature upgrade with the store I have been dealing with for the past 4 years in respect of my contract with Vodacom. However, the gentlemen at the store have been very helpful to try and negotiate with the relevant department at Vodacom to get them to allow me a premature upgrade. They have declined to grant me the premature upgrade because my average spend does not exceed R800.00. I cannot understand why there is a fuss over this as May 22nd is just a month and a few days away. Given my long standing relationship with Vodacom as a client i am very disappointed in them for declining my premature upgrade when it was to their benefit, i required upgrading my contract to a higher package and committing to a further 2 years of business with them. Clearly Vodacom does not value loyal clients and their clients business. Perhaps it may stand to reason that Vodacom is not flexible to their long standing clients requirements. Completely disappointing. I would rather take my business to a service provider more accommodating.
