Where has my airtime gone to???

I recharged my phone with R29 this morning, I was on an advance which took my balance to R18. I check my balance at lunch as I can't understand why my whatsapp isn't working only to realise I have R0.00??? I have not made a call or browsed the internet using my phone & I was only on whatsapp. So I call a consultant who tells me I was on an internet site, I ask her what site & she says it only says internet on her side??? Really??? I have spoken to consultants before who have told me what sites I was on. I don't know what this is but I want my airtime back as I know whatsapp only uses cents or this is GOODBYE!!!
