Since having to deal with Vodacom these last two weeks regarding, I have realised how good I have it with MTN :-)
Dealing with Vodacom has left me stunned, I honestly never thought that the two giants in the telecoms industry could be so different!
Because of absolute incompetency I have spent hours in police stations and banks, spent money and time faxing the required documents 'three times' and petrol and for what! Vodacom's tone and attitude has been arrogant and unhelpful, making me feel like the criminal. VODACOM HAS ALSO BEEN THE VICTIM OF!
My 16 calls to their call centre has been a joke. I was the victim of identity whilst no-one at Vodacom gives a (this obviously happens a lot there)... I am shocked by its complete arrogance and shoddy prevention policies.
HOWEVER, I have called MTN from time-to-time for information on industry procedures. I have never spent more then 5 minutes till a friendly and informative call centre agent answers the phone AND they ARE more informative and professional then VODACOM could ever even dream to be...
