In Nov 2013 my almost new IPhone5 developed a problem with the return button.
I returned the phone to MTM Nelspruit and, after it was checked by two staff members, I was advised that it will be sent in for replacement.
Later I was contacted and informed that the phone could not be replaced as a small scratch was discovered and therefore it could only be sent in for repair. I had to return to the store as different paperwork had to be completed.
I have lost count of the number of times I phoned the Nelspruit branch since then to find out what was happening. Every time I enquired I could not get any concrete news but lots of promises to get back to me which never materialised, until about a week ago when I was informed that the phone was missing / lost and that it will be replaced.
This morning I visited the branch again and was, once again informed that, despite numerous mails to the repair centre, there was no news on my phone.
In the interim I had to buy another phone in order to conduct my business and have been paying for the "new contract" monthly.
I have been a MTN customer for about 20 years and cannot believe that this is the "customer care" that I receive..
